Just heard you perform a pretty astonishing Mozart and Brahms concert in the beautiful but acoustically challenging venue of Chichester cathedral. Aisles packed, as ever, but deeply appreciative of a masterly performance. The delicacy and precision of the Mozart: flawless legato fingerwork, but with a lot of light and shade, and well-judged dynamic contrasts; this was followed by a passionate and powerful Brahms recital. A remarkable display of musicianship. Many, many thanks. I’m looking forward to playing the Mozart CD I bought afterwards.
