I’m excited to share my completion of Schubert’s Piano Sonata in F-sharp minor, D 571. While Schubert fully composed the second and third movements, he left the first and fourth movements incomplete. In my rendition, I have carefully finished the first movement, preserving its dramatic contrasts and lyrical beauty. For the fourth movement, I’ve developed Schubert’s partial material into a full and cohesive conclusion, ensuring it aligns with his distinctive harmonic style and thematic development. This process has been both fulfilling and inspiring, and I hope it offers a fresh perspective on Schubert’s sonata. I look forward to presenting this completed work and sharing it with fellow enthusiasts and performers.
