I’m Neil Crossland, and I’m delighted to present a curated collection of high‑quality music scores — many of which I have performed and recorded myself, as a soloist, in duos and trios. My aim is to bring to you editions that combine musical integrity, practicality for performance, and an enjoyment of the music itself.
Musical Background & Performance Experience
I began playing the piano at age six and later studied at the Royal College of Music where I was awarded major prizes in both piano and composition. Over the years I have performed extensively in prominent venues: in London at the Barbican Centre, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, St John’s Smith Square, St Martin‑in‑the‑Fields and the Wigmore Hall. I also completed a concert‑series of all 32 Beethoven piano sonatas at St James’s Piccadilly.
I’ve taken performances abroad and across the UK, and I’ve worked as a chamber musician in duos and trios (for example the cello/piano duo with Hannah Lewis).
Recordings & the Catalogue
Many of the pieces you’ll find here I have recorded myself: solo piano works, piano duets and piano trios, and chamber arrangements. (For example: the catalogue shows my original works and ECG arrangements such as “Suite of Contrasts Op 75 for Solo Piano,” “Through the Hourglass Op 70 for Cello & Piano,” and more.) Because I’ve been intimately involved in performing and recording these works, I bring an added understanding of what works for the performer, in terms of layout, clarity, parts, and practicality.
